Naperville Auto Repair

I was in Naperville for work for a couple of days. On the first night of my stay I went out to grab a bite and my car wouldn't start. 'Twas a problem with the electrical system. I reached out to Bill and company after doing some online research for a good local mechanic, hoping that I might be able to get in and out before my scheduled departure the next day. Having been assured that, barring extenuating circumstances, this would indeed be possible, I limped my car over to the shop. Knowing my situation, Bill offered to have someone at the shop give me a lift to work. They completed the diagnostics, fixed the problem, and got me rolling again before the day was out. I can honestly say that Bill, John, and the rest of the crew at Naper Auto Works are some of the friendliest, most polite, and most professional folks I've had the pleasure of working with. I appreciated their service so much that I'm typing this all out on my phone; I didn't even want to wait to get to an actual keyboard. Thanks for your help gentlemen!

Thorough explanations and accurate estimates

The Mechanic went outside with me to listen to the noise under the hood. We diagnosed it as a Idler arm bearing going bad. We went on a short trip around to the school parking lot to go over speed bumps and we also heard the same suspension noise. I asked for him to loosen the lower control arm and re-torque the bolts and after picking up the car the noise has gone.

I was referred to Naper Auto by some of my co-workers. I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Quick turnaround, good price and door to door service! I highly recommend Naper Auto Works to anyone who needs car repair. Great company!

The people at the shop are very knowledgeable and friendly. I was stuck on the side of the road and negative degree weather and my insurance company was going to take 90 minutes to come get me, I was able to call the shop directly and they were there to pick me up within 15 minutes. Thank goodness for them or I would've froze to death

I took my Nissan Altima into the dealer and had it diagnosed, which cost me $85.00. Diagnosis was that I needed a new shift assembly as my vehicle would not shift out of park without pushing the Shift Lock release button. Nissan dealer quoted me $925 plus tax to fix. Going on a hunch, I decided to take it into Naper Auto Works on a co-workers recommendation. They performed the inspections and quoted me $825.00, I decided to have Naper Auto Works fix it. They purchased the shift assembly from Nissan Dealer and performed the work. When I picked up the car the bill was actually $770.00 to my satisfaction. Jim was great and I will definitely take my car in again if needed. Hopefully not anytime soon :) Keep up the great work!

My check engine light came on and sudden panic soon followed. My car immediately started running very rough, very loud and then the car died. Instantly, my biggest fear kicked in, I have to buy a new car and I'll have a car note. (Something I've been avoiding for sometime now) But, I decided to take it to Naper Auto Works, to see if they could save my 1999 Chrysler Sebring and keep me from selling my soul to a car dealership. The gentlemen John and Bill, were very nice and honest. I didn't feel like they were taking advantage of me, because I was a woman. They fixed my car and I'm very happy now. Very happy that I didn't sell my soul to a car dealership and get a new car. There's more work to be done on my car and I plan on returning to Naper Auto Works to have it done.
